Coaching Philosophy

JH

Confidence. Collaboration. Focus
“My personal coaching philosophy has evolved and changed over the years. I firmly believe in, and work from, a person-centred approach with my clients, their horses and their goals and this drives all that we do - from planning and coaching sessions through to competition goals.
I aim to enthuse and instil confidence by adopting an individualised approach to each rider and their personal journey. This is why I would describe my coaching ethos as being holistic. I incorporate unmounted planning and review sessions and I seek input from allied professionals to ensure all-round development.
By working closely with each client and through collaborative input, I aim to instil knowledge and empower riders to overcome their perceived limitations.
My focus is centred on developing a partnership between horse and rider as I believe that this is key to achieving our goals.”
